Messiah – 11:3 Restoration

Great disappointment coming for rapture seekers

Many, many Christian television, YouTube channels and radio stations are breathlessly try to outdo each other in trumpeting the rapture implications of the ‘Great Sign’ we are about to see in the heavens. I, too, have written about the Revelation 12:1-2 sign that will happen this weekend, though I clearly stated that it would not be what the masses want it to be.

Literally, a hundred or more prophesies demand that kol (all) Israel, i.e., both houses, be regathered to the Land. There is some debate as to the time of this gathering relative to the coming of the Messiah, but certainly, there is no ‘catching away’ to some ethereal nether-region of saints. That is good Christian fiction.

Anyone who wants to understand Yeshua’s words in Matthew 24:31 concerning the signs in the heavens and the angels sent to gather the elect MUST recognize that Yeshua cites Deuteronomy 30:4 with the direct reference (see the Hebrew) when he says, “…from one end of the sky to the other…” The conditions for this gathering have not been met, yet!

YES! The heavens are filled with signs, but the gathering will not happen until those who belong to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob recognize their rebellion against His Torah, the path/way of righteousness, perfectly exampled in Yeshua. (If it was good enough for Yeshua and the Apostles, then 1800 years of lawless Christian dogma ought not sway us from the way of the King!) But, maybe the signs are there to wake us up to the fullness of time!

As I have previously stated, I believe that this sign portents a HUGE, even MONUMENTAL, shift in the relationship between the House of Judah and the House of Israel. Most do not have the eyes to see it… yet, but it will become evident in the very near future. Just as the sign at the coming of the Messiah in 2 BCE was seen by a few shepherds and some sages from the East, but unnoticed for decades by everyone else, this may have an equally missed point until hindsight clarifies the earth shaking awakening that will accelerate in the coming year or two.

To understand what is happening in the world today, study the massive Torah awakening happening throughout Christendom and then read the prophets!! Prophecy is unfolding before us and it ALL points to the restoration of Israel, the mission of Yeshua. Acts 1:6-7!!

Behold! Geulah draws nigh!

Miriam was more than perplexed. She was filled with awe and wonder and holy fear. Who was she that she should be given the incredible favor to be visited by a brilliant messenger and hear not only that the promises of the Most High were about to be fulfilled, but that she, a humble righteous one would actually get to participate!

She could share some of what she knew, but most had to be held closely to the vest and wait on the Lord to unfold in His time. What wonder and excitement she must have felt. Then, to gather with Elizabeth who had another piece of the puzzle, another part of the whole, and compare notes? It brought a flood of tears of joy!! Not only was she not crazy and not alone, but the sudden revelation that the Father was working in multiple ways, through multiple people and yet keeping hidden, for a time the plan that was being manifest.

What must that heady cocktail of emotion, Divine Presence and deep conviction have felt like? How joyous to share with a few who knew and understood? How challenging to stand, even move forward, in the face of the myriad doubters and question filled observers?

I woke this morning pondering Ezra, Nehemiah, Miriam (Mary), Joseph, Elizabeth, Moses and many others who ‘happened’ to live at a critical juncture in prophecy and were gifted not only with the eyes to see, but the opportunity to participate! Absalom, the anti-messiah and the Valley of Elah.

Biblical history IS prophecy. I used to believe that some of Biblical history is prophetic, but the more I read and study ‘historical’ passages, the more I recognize prophetic pictures confirmed by other passages. As examples, we have explored Joseph as a picture of Yeshua, Elijah and the significance in the End Times series, as well as David and Goliath picturing the end times.

This morning while meandering through various passages I was suddenly and sharply drawn to look at Absalom and David. Almost immediately, verses in the story-line began to pop out revealing two interesting pictures from the historical uprising of Absalom against his father’s kingdom. Now, I have not had time to fully tease this picture out, (I’m just too excited to wait.. I want to share…) so, you get to help as you think this through and add notes in the comment section!!

Absalom is a picture of Lucifer.

Of Lucifer, Ezekiel says,

Sacrifice of the Paschal Lamb Returns to Jerusalem After Millennia [PHOTOS]

I have warned for a couple years now that the day is coming when sacrifice would begin again in Jerusalem. This NOT a bad thing, in fact prophecy clearly teaches in Ezekiel 43 and following that when the Messiah comes, He will preside over the sacrifice in the Temple. Other passages as we have explored before, also prophecy future sacrifice, contrary to Christendom’s assertion in the negative. I have covered this in detail through a number of posts. Here are just a few under one search term.

Well, today I read a jolting and deeply exciting article that portents again just how very very close we are to having sacrifice re-instituted which is a clear sign the Messiah is near.

One of the highlights of the Jewish year, the Passover offering, is making a comeback. On Monday, a reenactment presented the Biblical commandment in its full glory, which is fortunate since many rabbis believe that neglecting this important mitzvah (Torah commandment), even in the absence of a Temple, has grave consequences for Israel.

Just four days before Passover, the day the Bible commands Israel to bring a lamb to the Temple to be sacrificed, a group of Kohanim (members of the Jewish priestly class) sacrificed a lamb on Mount Scopus overlooking the site of the Temple. The Kohanim wore ritual clothes conforming to Biblical requirements and were accompanied by music played on silver instruments specially made to serve in the Third Temple.

Difficult verses in the ‘Christmas’ story, p.4

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ²He was in the beginning with God. ³All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. ⁴In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men.

No reading of the ‘Christmas’ story is complete without John 1, yet these verses pose a sizable challenge to Christian theology if we stop and really take a look at them.

Have you ever considered the implication of these verses? Jesus, or by His Hebrew name, Yeshua, was with God in the beginning and was (is) God. Easy, right? Not so fast, my friend!

Interesting article, and while I do not agree with some of the author’s viewpoint (we have refuted bilateral ecclesiology on this blog multiple times and ways), it is clear that more and more people across Christendom are asking the right very hard questions. Have we inherited traditions from our fathers that have no basis in Scripture? What was the actual practice of the ‘church’ in Acts? ect… A paradigm-shift is in the works. Buckle your seatbelt!!

Resurrection song?

I was reading Psalm 98 and wondering if this was sung by angels at Messiah’s resurrection.

Twice the word ‘Yeshua’ is used and the direct reference has to do with securing the victory of mercy and truth toward the house of Israel. Matthew 15:24 comes to mind as well as Romans 8:22-23… I was also reading in Acts this evening and looked into the three or four references where Yeshua is referred to as the Righteous One… See Ps. 98:2.

The Psalm, as prophecy, is incomplete as He has not yet come to judge (rule) with equity. See Isaiah 2:3-5, Ez. 37:24-28, Psalm 2, etc…

What a rich nine verses.

FOCUS!!!

These are interesting and heady prophecy laden days. There is no question, we are living in one of the most interesting, if not THE most interesting time in history. More prophecies are written of the latter days than even of the time of Messiah’s first coming. And, by all outward appearances, we are living in the very days that those prophecies speak to.

I have heard many, many warnings concerning the near future, some dire. I know and am aware of many who have been clearly directed to relocate… some out of the country. Still others, have been directed to specific preparations, etc… And, through all of these reports and connections I hear voiced concerns and on occasion, fear.

At the same time I have pondered some of these things, I have also been very much pondering and discussing both home fellowships and community on this blog. ‘Signs in the heavens’ continue to dazzle…

A couple weeks ago I blogged about current signs in the heavens and the brilliant testimony to our King! In the first article, I linked to an excellent article by Dr. Dale Sides about the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter and possible significance. Well, he has another excellent article with still more details as he considers the fact that we have a TRIPLE conjunction with other events occurring simultaneously that all are probable Messianic announcements!

I recommend you go read his article titled Triple Conjunctions of Venus and Jupiter – July 1, August 4, and October 25, 2015. One of the important subtexts going on in his article that I equally enjoyed was his reference to “Yeshua haMashiach’ and “Yahweh,” as well as a comment on the pagan names of planets hung by a Hebrew Creator!

PURE OLIVE OIL: LET IT FLOW!

HUGE NEWS!! Prophecy continuing to be fulfilled and the day of Messiah’s coming is that much closer! Following is an article taken from the Temple Institute’s Facebook page detailing a MAJOR step in the restoration of Temple worship. Note the information about the altar at the end! The timing, in conjunction with Chnukah, is also significant. More info on the process and how this came to be is available here with their December 15, 2014 entry.

For the first time in 2000 years, the Temple Institute has produced pure olive oil, in accordance with the complex laws regarding Temple purity. This oil is not for eating, but for kindling the seven lights of the Holy Temple Menorah.

The pure Temple oil has been deposited and sealed into a ceramic cruse, also fashioned and fired in accordance with the complex laws regarding Temple purity, just like the cruse of pure oil sealed with the seal of the Kohen Gadol – High Priest – and discovered by the victorious Maccabees when they entered the liberated Temple and set about re-purifying and rededicating the Holy Temple and the altar that the Greek occupiers had defiled.

On Monday evening, December 22, the seventh light of Chanukah, in a public ceremony to take place in Jerusalem’s old city, alongside the Golden Menorah also made by the Temple Institute, the pure ceramic cruse and the pure oil contained within it will be revealed to the world. The gathering will then proceed to the Temple Institute’s Holy Temple Visitors Center, where a newly completed stone altar will be dedicated.

Both ceremonies will be conducted by kohanim – priests- in priestly garments, accompanied by song and the blasting of silver trumpets.
