Without question, modern culture is screwed up. Everybody knows this. Few, however, understand the solution and fewer still are willing to take the necessary steps.

The reason? Too many emasculated men and an ocean of rebellious women.

Our Polygynous Fathers

*not an ‘accurate’ representation of the persons or events depicted…. 😉

A central thread that runs through the whole of Scripture that both Christendom and Judaism try to hide, minimize, or ignore is polygyny. So, to expose that thread and demonstrate how very central the subject is, let’s take a gander at it by considering various angles.

Characters:

  • Hebrews 11 names many of the following as ‘men approved by God’…
  • Abraham had at least two concubines besides Sarah. (Genesis 25:6)
  • Jacob had four wives, therefore, all who are descended from or grafted into Israel have a father who is polygynous.
  • Moses married the Zipporah and the Cushite woman. The latter incurred Miriam’s displeasure and we see God’s response…. (Numbers 12)
  • Caleb, Joshua’s righteous companion who entered the land, had …wives.
  • Gideon had 70 sons, plus. (Judges 8:30-31)
  • Elkanah, father of Samuel, had two wives.
  • David, man after God’s own heart, had eight wives and ten concubines (1 Chronicles 3:1-9).
  • Solomon, greatest king of Israel.
  • Joash was given two wives by the High Priest and ‘did what was right in the sight of the Lord…’ (2 Chronicles 24:2-3, 15-16)
  • Oh, God, by His own Word testifies to (allegorically) having two brides. (Ezekiel 23:2, 4; Jeremiah 3:8; 31:32)
  • Others…

Prophecy blindness?

Kelly and I are back in the Land, aka Israel, for the next three glorious weeks. We are blessed to have the opportunity to lead the Ani Yosef Sukkot trip and to attend a couple small conferences concerning the restoration of Israel.

After a late start this morning due to little sleep while traveling we headed out for a several hour hike out of the moshav and through a part of the Hakedoshim Forest. The ‘Forest of the Holy Ones.’

We walked and talked. Stopped a couple places to pray and simply drink in the beauty.

As we talked, she mentioned, “I look forward to the day when everything is green again.”

I said, “It is green! Everywhere.”

“I’m not color-blind,” she immediately responded.

“I understand what you are saying, dear, but I already see it as green.” Then it hit me. I pondered and as we kept walking, I said, “I think often we are prophecy-blind like being color-blind. We don’t see things by faith as if they already are!”

Prophetic thresholds….

This year has been a string of prophetic pearls being revealed, one after another.  Yesterday proved another gem in the string as President Donald Trump officially recognized Zion, the Eternal City, as the capital of Israel.  Much, much has been running through my head ever since, but the very first thought that hit me was,

Cyrus Helps the Exiles to Return

1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing:

2 “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:

“‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for him at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. 4 And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’”

5 Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem

An epiphany re: Revelation 12:1-2…

What if the sign means….

We are hosting Al and Char McCarn this weekend as well as their two daughters, son-in-law and Akpene Torku.  Earlier this week, Al and Char celebrated their 30th anniversary, so the girls surprised them with a very nice brunch this morning.  As we were finishing the mimosas and tasty quiche, the conversation turned to the eclipse.

We read Revelation 12:1-2 together and discussed the coming signs in the heavens when I had an epiphany!!  Here we go:  Three “wandering stars” join the nine in Leo to become twelve and the woman conceives!!  Selah!

Maybe, just maybe, what this sign portents is a major shift in the relationship between the House of Judah and the House of Israel and their respective connections with the King.  The House of Israel (the nine stars in Leo*) has been with Yeshua for 2000 years.  Maybe, just maybe, this is the turning point in His revealing of Himself to the three tribes (Judah, Benjamin and Levi) in the House of Judah making the 12 star garland signifying the coming together and the birth of renewed/restored Israel!!  If this is the proper interpretation, watch for a MAJOR acceleration of restoration as the House of Israel begins to really awaken to Torah and come together while the House of Judah will begin a radical shift in perspective on Yeshua!

*Note: For those doing the math, there are actually 13 tribes named, though only 12 ever listed….  Joseph = Ephraim and Manashe…

…he shall turn the heart … of the children to their fathers….

I love Malachi 4 and have written multiple times about this highly significant and prophetic chapter that is only now being fulfilled.  One phrase I have written about before is “…he shall turn the heart … of the children to their fathers…”

Here is a terrific and peaceful explanation that will totally bless any who take the time to listen and ponder.  I recommend finding a quiet place and hearing this message.
