The missing ‘yod’ arrived…. (pics)

Hey, guys!  A couple days ago I told you about the Shema I ordered from WallWritten.com, and some sharper eyes than mine noticed that I overlooked a missing ‘yod.’  Well, it came yesterday and I have had time this evening to finish the lettering I was using for a border on the east side of our living room.  Following are a couple pics for your enjoyment.

The second two phrases are Psalm 137:5-6,

If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
May my right hand forget.

May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth
If I do not remember you,
If I do not exalt Jerusalem
Above my chief joy.

Now, I am anxiously awaiting the wall image I designed for my office wall…  I can’t wait to share it!

  1. The verse in Psalms is said under the chuppa, when we get married. In theory, it is to set your priorities straight, that first comes God. But really, the deeper reason, is because the relationship between the Shechina and man is so similar to that of man and wife. As we say in Israel, v’hamayvin yavin (and the one who understands will understand)

    1. Blessings to you, brother!! Was going to drop you a line later today. Working on something right now that I really, really want your thoughts on… Hoping to post later today.

Interestingly, your comment here ties right in to that post….

Wishing we were closer to just sit and talk. So many questions and things I would love your perspective on. The emails may soon start flowing!
