Recall that several months ago I posted an opportunity to help fledgling Messianic congregations in Uganda through the ministry of Dr. David Sloss and Baraka International Ministries. Well, there is still much opportunity to help, so I wanted to share two update newsletters I just received from David after his recent teaching trip to Uganda.
I was excited to read of some of the help we were able to send and pray that you can help this ministry as it establishes a firm Torah-pursuant, Yeshua-loving foothold in the heart of Africa!!

My name is Annie from Uganda . I live in Kampala though Work in a local bank in Iganga. I had the opportunity of meeting Dr Sloss when he came to minister in Uganda at the messianic congregation in Iganga and was extremely blessed by his teachings. The Lord had begun to draw me to messianic lifestyle and teachings and so I had been researching a lot on the internet and that was my main source of information but one particular Friday I asked the Lord to lead me to messianic believers and through clear leading by the Lord I discovered Bro John swagga and contacted him the next day after shabbat had ended .I got to know that he is the leader of the messianic fellow ship and bsince then he has availed me books dvd and literature that drew me back to the Torah .In may i met Dr Sloss and though I attended only two sessions I was greatly blessed.Iam still in contact with that little messianic fellowship and they have availed great resources for me which have deepened my walk with the Lord .I would like to thank dr Sloss for availing himself and to thank all those who have supported him in all ways to make it possible for Africa to be transformed and to go back to the hebraic roots of the Gospel I believe the Father’s original intention was for Africe to receive the gospel in its original jewish hebraic form thru Apostle Philip to the Ethiopian eunuch and the Lord is giving back Africa what we lost
