If there is one truly spectacular aspect to this piece of property our Father led us to rent, it is the views. For being in the middle of rolling hills, we may have one of the highest and most panoramic views in the county. We are surrounded by fields that fall away from the hill on which the house sits. 
I love moonrises and sunsets… We get plenty of them. I often say, ‘I need to take some pics…’ Well, recently, I started keeping a camera handy and want to share several pictures from the last week.
Thus says the Lord,
Who gives the sun for light by day
And the [a]fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night,
Who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar;
The Lord of hosts is His name:
36 “If [b]this fixed order departs
From before Me,” declares the Lord,
“Then the offspring of Israel also will cease
From being a nation before Me [c]forever.” Jeremiah 31:35-36
Thus says the Lord,
“If the heavens above can be measured
And the foundations of the earth searched out below,
Then I will also cast off all the offspring of Israel
For all that they have done,” declares the Lord. Jer. 31:37
As long as the sun rises and sets, as long as the moon gives light, the offspring of Israel will be a nation before Yahweh. We best think hard about what it means to be grafted in, because replacing is out of the question!!
May every sunset you see, every moonrise you enjoy remind you that heaven and earth have not passed away and neither has the Torah, God’s covenant with the people of Israel!
