“Ask About Me” tees…. Get one!
A couple of weeks ago we saw a really neat
t-shirt campaign on TeeSpring that we wanted. So, all six family members ordered a t-shirt in various colors like the one on the right. The front says, ‘Ask about me…‘
We wore them to the National Shabbat in north Georgia and received multiple requests concerning where we got them, but the campaign was closed.
Well, local Messianic friend, Julian couldn’t stand it and did the research. With an order of just 10 shirts, the campaign will re-open.
So, if you want one, here is the link!! Go get one!
ALL Israel… Bones, sticks and kingdoms…
I have really been soaking in Ezekiel 36 the last few days and several times have read on til the end of chapter 37. Well, this morning a coworker asked me about the dry bones and I got to share two sticks as well as address 37:24-28, verses Christendom ignores because they don’t fit the Christian paradigm.
Who is ‘all Israel?’ Who is ‘My servant David?’ If ‘David’ is in the land overseeing ‘all Israel,’ where is Jesus? Where are you? Who are the two kingdom’s? (v.22 & 23). Why does ‘David’ cause them to walk in statutes and ordinances… FOREVER?
Hmmmmm…. Seems the’re some seriously false doctrines floating around…
Torah IS life!
You won’t hear that from most pulpits, yet that is exactly the testimony of God breathed everlasting Scripture, contrary to millennia of false doctrine. Here are a few statements from Yehovah,
Deu. 30:15-16 “See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity; in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.
Deu 32:45-47 When Moses had finished speaking all these words to all Israel, he said to them, “Take to your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the words of this law (torah). For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. Continue reading “Torah IS life!”
Christendom is waking up…. And, more.
This last week has been an interesting one as we see prophecy accelerating. Multiple articles and related visions have been passed along to me, so, here are four ‘must reads’ for you. I’ll include a note or two with each hotlinked headline.
Mike shared this link from Charisma News:
Holy Spirit Shift: Christians and Jews Reunited After 2,000 Years
Interesting article, and while I do not agree with some of the author’s viewpoint (we have refuted bilateral ecclesiology on this blog multiple times and ways), it is clear that more and more people across Christendom are asking the right very hard questions. Have we inherited traditions from our fathers that have no basis in Scripture? What was the actual practice of the ‘church’ in Acts? ect… A paradigm-shift is in the works. Buckle your seatbelt!!
Mike also sent this terrific short article with attendant comments:
From Israel Today:
COMMENTARY: Do You Have to be Jewish to be Israel?
It is becoming increasingly clear that Abba is doing something amazing in our day. The conversation concerning the Hebrew/Jewish roots of Christendom is fast becoming a mainstream topic worthy of honest discussion!! Buckle up and learn so you can share with others who are awakening to the truth.
Sis Loammi sent this very interesting article with serious implications both physically and spiritually… Continue reading “Christendom is waking up…. And, more.”
Still MORE prophecy being fulfilled…
Prophecy is clearly accelerating!!
In fact, good friend Tzefanyah had a vision a few days ago wherein he saw the Father running toward the prodigal son (Ephraim) and he heard Father say (paraphrasing), “As I accelerate toward the lost son, so prophecy accelerates!”
I can promise you, from my vantage point, many very big things have begun to happen very quickly. The timetable most certainly seems to be accelerating.
When Kelly and I went to Israel back in May, we took six ounces of silver to be delivered to the Temple Institute as a gift and as a means of obedience to Scripture. Well, imagine my joy when Sis Loammi sent me this article:
Modern Revival of Lost Biblical Commandment Paving the Way for the Third Jewish Temple
Biblical commandments not practiced for thousands of years are slowly returning to life. One such commandment, known as the Machatsit HaShekel, or half-shekel, is making a comeback thanks to a simple Jewish tailor in Jerusalem.
If you could ask for ONE thing, what would it be?
Psalm 27:4-5 meditation. Part of series in preparation for Yom Kippur.
I hear it often and have said it myself, “If I just had ______________, I’d be happy.” Maybe it is a large sum of money. Maybe to be debt-free, or a particular model car. Maybe it is to be in better shape, or better looking. Maybe it is a spouse, or particular someone. Or, a title, position, business, etc… The list is endless. For each person, the perceived want/need is different.
The Psalmist asks for ONE thing, and it is Continue reading “If you could ask for ONE thing, what would it be?”
Labor Day? A thought….
God knows, we need rest. In fact, He commands rest. What is odd is that man largely rejects His rest, then needs to create days of rest.
Consider how much rest (and feasting/bbq-ing) He commands:
– 52 Sabbaths of no work
– 2 one week Feasts of limited or no work
– 6 additional feast days, most with no work
– 12-13 New Moon Feasts of limited work
– Every seventh year, rest the land
– Every 50th year rest the land and go debt-free…
And, I’m probably forgetting something.
Why would anyone trade all that for a different schedule that then needs a Labor Day? Doesn’t sound like bondage to me…
Pffffttt. Who needs Labor Day?
Shema Video from Adat Shalom, Summerville, SC
Here is our first Shema video (other than our family) posted on YouTube by Dorthy of Adat Shalom Fellowship in Summerville, SC. Please pardon the soft audio, I have attended this fellowship a couple times and it is a fantastic place of worship. Non-Jews who love YHVH and are learning to walk in His ways!! This is Ray Gardner’s fellowship and, ironically, I was adding Torah Portion notes that he sent a couple days ago to his page… Go check out that awesome resource as well!
And, thanks, Dorothy and Tommy for this video! May it bless and encourage others!
Meditations from Psalm 27 v. 2 & 3
This is the month of Elul on the Hebrew calendar and traditionally, a month of repentance as we prepare for the Fall Feasts, most especially, Yom Kippur. Psalm 27 is one of the Psalms read daily during this period and several days ago I posted the first of several meditations from this passage. Here is another from verses 2 & 3.
2 When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh,
My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though a host encamp against me,
My heart will not fear;
Though war arise against me,
In spite of this I shall be confident.
It is September 2015 and there are a thousand people claiming that this could shape up to be a wildly eventful month. Blood moon, solar eclipse, Pope at the UN, end of the Shmita, beginning of the Yovel, etc… No doubt, prophecy seems to be accelerating and bears watching, but the troublesome aspect is how many people get totally bent out of shape and focus on nothing but the bad.
Yet, these verses clearly say, beginning with the end of v. 1, that “Yehovah is my defense…, Whom shall I fear?” And, these verses continue the thought by laying out some dreadful thoughts about enemies, adversaries and hosts (armies)! Still, the Psalmist ‘will not fear’ and is ‘confident.’ Why? Continue reading “Meditations from Psalm 27 v. 2 & 3”
