Elijah and running the race..

Elijah has long been a fascination for me!! My long time readers Eliyahuknow that a couple years ago I wrote a seven part series titled Elijah, Significance in the End Times.  While a long read, it really explores much Scripture and pictures in Scripture that deal directly with the end times.

There is no question that Elijah, or the spirit of Elijah plays a major role in the last days.  The last three verses of the Old Testament have very clear references to Moses, Torah, Elijah and the Great Day of the Lord.  We explored that a bit one time.  Even a very popular Christian praise song declares the significance of the days and connects them to Elijah, Moses and Ezekiel…  Again, we wrote on that.  Amazingly, even the author of that song does not understand the significance of the very words he penned!!

Well, yesterday I saw an exceptional video that pulls more of these pieces together in a picture painted in 1 Kings.  This video absolutely gave me chills.  Highly recommended…

The point is this:  Everything I read and understand these days, both in and out of Scripture indicates we are living at an amazing pivotal point in history that quite possibly is THE time the prophets looked to and foretold.

What does Elijah have to do with it, and why are people, Christian and non-, coming into Torah observance by the droves?  Coincidence?  Or, is the Holy Spirit of God doing something special in our day?  Are you paying attention and asking the right questions?  Or, are you pretending like everything is the same as it always has been?

I know both kinds of pastors.  Those who cling desperately to the doctrinal traditions they were raised in, and others who have humbled themselves and asked our Father to reveal any error in their beliefs that they might walk as the Messiah walked.  One such account, well told, is here.

Take the challenge and understand.  The spirit of Elijah is here.  Now.  Time grows short!
