How to KNOW you love God…

Ever wondered how to KNOW if you or someone around you loves God?  It is actually, very simple.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and [a]observe His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.  I Jn 5:2-3

Pretty simple.

The word ‘observe’ is more properly translated (as the superscript testifies) ‘DO.’  Further, these verses do not point to some mythical ‘change in the law’ that Jesus supposedly brought.  Rather, sparklingly clear, they say, ‘love God=keep HIS commandments.’

But, isn’t that exactly what Yeshua said?

15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.

And, previously, John, the same author also told us that Yeshua said,

16 So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching (doctrine) is not Mine, but His who sent Me.

Yeshua ONLY spoke the words of the Father, per Deuteronomy 18:18!

Here is the very simple point:  You claim to love God? Are you,

If you do not these things, then you have some personal assessing to do.  And, in these troubled times, you best consider closely Revelation 12:17 and 14:12!

17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her [a]children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

12 Here is the [a]perseverance of the [b]saints who keep the commandments of God and [c]their faith in Jesus.

Dear Christian, these are not my words.  This is the everlasting unchanging Word of God, given by Yeshua from Mt. Sinai!  Please, separate the traditions of men from the commands of our Father and keep the latter!

Shalom!
