Answering the Anti-missionaries

In recent weeks I have had several run-ins with anti-missionaries.  While I prefer not having such encounters as only rarely does anything good come of them, when they come to me, I have to respond as clearly and firmly as I can in humility and gentleness.  Because many anti-missionaries are professional deprogrammers, they can be particularly dangerous to have extended conversations with.  So, I’d like to share a few tools to defend yourself, should you or one you know have a similar encounter.  But, before I do, I would like to share a few reasons why denying Yeshua and converting to Judaism is counter-productive toward  reconciliation and damaging to the restoration of the Kingdom.

Because most who know and have relationship with Yeshua were reared in Christianity, most know the seriousness of denying the Messiah.  I’ll not delve into His credentials or the reasons we need to maintain our faith in Him from the perspective of personal salvation.  Rather, we need to take a look at the importance of maintaining our identity for corporate salvation.

The restoration of the Kingdom requires the fulfillment of prophecy.  Any seeming restoration that bypasses prophecy is a false hope and works against the Word of God.  Many, many prophecies can be pointed to that demonstrate the restored Kingdom has two parts that walk together.  Those two parts are spelled out for us in Ezekiel 37:15-23, the stick of Judah and the stick of Joseph. Verse 22 tells us these are two nations or two kingdoms.  Hosea 1:11 confirms this.  Two nations, two kingdoms come together under one head.  Simply, prophecy cannot be fulfilled if Ephraim becomes Judah, nor can it be fulfilled if Judah becomes Ephraim!!  Continue reading “Answering the Anti-missionaries”

Redeeming Yeshua….

Following is a brief article from a dear friend and brother, Tom Lewis.  He is relating a particularly amazing step in the direction of the restoration of all things!

From left, Tammy and Tom Lewis, Ariel Cohen Alloro, Bob Parham

For the last seven or so years, Tom has traveled to Jerusalem three times per year to present himself before YHVH at all of the pilgrim feasts.  On these journeys he has had innumerable Divine appointments and built many relationships with brothers of Judah.  Over the course of this last year, Tom, in obedience to Torah, began seeking to redeem his

firstborn in a Pidyon HaBen ceremony.  While it is a long story, he eventually found a rabbi willing to do it.  More interestingly, this Orthodox Rabbi, Ariel Cohen Alloro,  believes Yeshua is the Messiah and he can prove it many multiple ways.

This rabbi is on a special, even Divinely ordained, mission, but needs our prayers, support and backing.  I have asked Tom to write a guest article explaining a little about Ariel’s quest.  Continue reading “Redeeming Yeshua….”

A truth that cuts both ways…

This is an amazing video that just covered me in chills!!!  Understand what is  happening here as the awakening accelerates!!

A Jewish woman at Azusa Now sang the Shema and cried out “Hoshianna!”  While her intemt was to cry out to God on behalf of Judah, something MUCH greater was spoken before that crowd as she knelt and faced Jerusalem!

She cried out, “Shema Israel” to a crowd who are  part of Israel!!  She said, “We are a stiff-necked people.”  And, indeed, BOTH Houses, the House of Judah (Jews, primarily) and the House of Israel (the other ten tribes) have been stiff-necked and walked in blindness.  One to the Torah and the other to the Messiah.

What this lady said and did at that worship event was speak eternal truth into the ears of all who see/hear this.  I cannot begin to explain the magnitude of what happened right there!!

We will ONLY be restored when each house repents for their respective area of blindness.

ALERT: Important conversation worth watching…

Dear readers,

There is an important conversation taking place that you may want to watch.  Please do not ‘pile-on,’ however this is a good opportunity to read and understand some of the fundamentals in one of many ongoing conversations with brother Judah.

Do you study the Scriptures Paul studied?

In 2 Timothy 2, Paul says, “All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.”

Ever pondered what he considered to be Scripture?  Funny that most of Christendom majors on Paul instead of going to his source: Genesis to Malachi.

Maybe, we need to spend more time in that which he calls Scripture so that we can rightly understand what he says…

RtB rocking teacher’s world…

Our conversation took an interesting turn!  Normally, my brief conversations with the teacher that works on the hall my office is on (I’m a school bus driver/trainer) are based on college sports or politics, but a few days ago it somehow quickly turned to tensions with North Korea and his concerns.  He was interested in my thoughts and I offered that I had recently both read and written a few articles on the Jewish sages and a couple prophecies that may point to the rogue state as causing the Gog-Magog war.

As if the conversation couldn’t turn faster, within about three sentences we were talking about Scripture and the feasts of the Lord.  He mentioned an interest but didn’t know where to start reading to understand more.  Long story short, I gave him the three minute sketch of my background as an ordained pastor, our journey to Torah and the blessings of understanding Scripture from the perspective of the authors!!  I mentioned my book, Repairing the Breach, in passing, offering a copy if he was interested.

His immediate response was an enthusiastic, “Yes!”

Well, the only copies I had were in my car, so as we parted I let him know I’d get it for him the next time I went out to the lot.

Not five minutes later, he pops back into my office and says, “I’m serious.  I want to read that book!” Continue reading “RtB rocking teacher’s world…”
