Abortion remains ‘leading cause of death worldwide’

ABORTION WAS LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH WORLDWIDE IN 2018: More human beings died in abortions than any other cause of death in 2018, a new report indicates. A heartbreaking reminder about the prevalence of abortion, statistics compiled by Worldometers indicate that there were nearly 42 million abortions world-wide in 2018. Breitbart contrasted the abortion numbers to other causes of death, including cancer, HIV/AIDS, traffic accidents and suicide, and found that abortions far outnumbered every other cause. As of December 31, 2018, there have been some 41.9 million abortions performed in the course of the year, the report revealed. By contrast, 8.2 million people died from cancer in 2018, 5 million from smoking, and 1.7 million died of HIV/AIDS. Globally, just under a quarter of all pregnancies (23%) were ended by abortion in 2018, and for every 33 live births, ten infants were aborted. Researchers estimate about 59 million deaths world-wide in 2018, but that number does not include unborn babies’ abortion deaths.

Modern implements of torture and death.

Unborn babies are not recognized as human beings even though biology indicates that they are unique, living human beings from the moment of conception and they die brutal, violent deaths in abortions. The abortion number is incomprehensible, but each of those 42 million abortions represents a living human being whose life was violently destroyed in their mother’s womb. Each unborn baby already had their own unique DNA, making them distinct from their mother. That DNA indicated if the child was a boy or girl, their eye and hair color, their height, possible genetic disorders and other disabilities, and much more. In most cases, the unborn babies’ hearts are beating when they are aborted, too. In America, just under 1 million babies are aborted every year. Though abortion rates have been dropping in the past decade, abortion remains the leading cause of death in the United States as well. (Life News)  Intercede that laws will be changed.

An Abomination in Jerusalem! Rachem!

Scripture promises that it will happen, and we’ve seen the stage being set for at least a generation, but reading that in the next few weeks a one world religion will be revealed in the Old City of Jerusalem is a dash or cold water.  Truly, we are living in latter days.

There a has been a marked acceleration in both good and evil as the parallel sides of this great cosmic battle prepare for a major showdown.  This next stage in history will herald the coming of the Prince, spoken of by Ezekiel the prophet and foretold in numerous other passages.  But, like birth pangs of a woman, the arrival of the Anticipated brings with it much change and pain.

I received an email yesterday alerting me to Mekudeshet,  a 19 day event in Jerusalem starting on September 4 that is intentionally designed to blend the world’s three major monotheistic religions.  With blended worship services and a series of events titled “Seven Ways to Dissolve Boundaries” as well as numerous musicians and artists performing ‘sacred’ pieces that span global religions, this is surely bound to infuriate a Set Apart Creator.  And, it takes place during Elul in a year that is so full of prophetic indicators that I can only consider it another portent of the nearness of the Mashiach.

Here is one video with information that I think valuable, though the title is a bit provocative and I hold some of the conclusions with an open hand.

The event will close with a dedication prayer service in the Valley of Hinnom, the same place that infants were sacrificed to Molech.  Is it an invitation for demonic Continue reading “An Abomination in Jerusalem! Rachem!”

Bridges to Ba’al: How Satan Uses the Canaanite Influenced Christmas and Easter to Ensnare the Children of the Household

Following is part one of a series that friend Peter Vest is writing.  These are not easy words to hear, but much needed if we are to truly seek truth.

Bridges to Ba’al: How Satan Uses the Canaanite Influenced Christmas and Easter to Ensnare the Children of the Household

The beautiful tree, bedecked with christmas decorationssilver and gold, warm glowing lights, beside a roaring hearth, a host of shiny presents–what’s not to like?  Christmas is beloved especially by children because of all of the beautiful traditions, the celebration of family, the feeling of security with the hearth with the promise of food nearby (“visions of sugar plums”) and especially the presents!

And since, as Christians believe, the day of Christmas has been devoted to the G-d of Israel (i.e. Yeshua) then Christmas is all the more special, right?

No.  Here’s why:

Allow me to briefly connect several dots showing the evolution of the Canaanite religion, it’s overt beginnings with child sacrifice to the fire gods Ba’al and Asherah, to the fire gods Jupiter and Vesta, to the modern vestigial remains as observed in certain customs of Christmas and Easter.

Thanks to modern discoveries of Ugarit texts, Ugarit being one of the ancient city-states of Canaan, we now know a little bit about some of the major players in the Canaan pantheon:

Asherah, was the fertility goddess, the “Queen of Heaven” (now immortalized with fertility symbols on Easter), married to El, a senile god who was eventually replaced with Ba’al.  The people believed that Asherah was best appeased with sexual rites, often symbolized with a pole (the “May pole” being a modern vestige of this phenomenon) and that Ba’al was best appeased with a fire and a “green” tree.
