Counting down… (and, a special song!!)

Several months ago, when we began planning/preparing for the trip to Israel it seemed so far off on the calendar.  I remember writing a countdown on my office calendar that exceeded 100 days and thinking, ‘it will never get here!’

Well, lately, things have been happening so fast my head is spinning and I can hardly sleep!  Abba has been directing pieces so clearly that this walk has simply been an amazing dream-like state where I wait with baited breath to see each new thing He will accomplish as He goes before us.  Truly, an amazing experience.

From the beginning, I have sensed that this Congress could have significance implications for many, many people.  This sense has been confirmed by many people through private and public words and prophecy.

I want to thank the many who have made this possible through gifts and prayer.  Time will tell, but your faithfulness may have incredibly far reaching impact.

My plan over the next several weeks is to blog some short updates on our tour and thoughts as we visit some of the sites wherein the Northern Kingdom rebelled.  Then at/during the Congress, we have several 16 hour days of meetings, but I intend to work in some blogging from the room with short, pointed updates and prayer requests.  Please be on the lookout for those.

In the meantime, please lift all delegates in prayer.  Safety traveling, trouble-free entry into the Land (particularly, those coming from the East!!), wisdom, discernment, the leading of the Ruach/Spirit, etc.  As I speak with other delegates making preparations and discussing topics prior to arrival, there is an amazing sense of purpose and peace coupled with a firm desire for us to be Spirit led, not pushing personal or individual agendas.  Pray this continue.  Our heart’s desire is the Heart of our Father and His People.

Twice yesterday, I was sent this amazing song that so speaks to my heart.  Tears even now.  May the Rock of Ages light our way and bring Shalom as we seek to bless our brother Judah in the Promised Land.  May Abba Father hear our cry!!

There are many who do not understand what we do, but in faith we follow our King!!  May HE lead and guide us!!
