I believe Revelation 22:19 very effective in witnessing to professing believers. It seems to have a sobering effect! “Is not My Word like a Raging Fire says YHWH, and like a Hammer that smashes the fortress to smithereens?” Jeremiah23:29.
However, I NEVER simply cite, or quote the passage. First, I ask the “patient” to turn to Revelation, then I get him to admit that the number three is very significant. Next I ask him to read the third verse into the book of Revelation. (the promise of blessing to him who hears & DOES) Then, I ask Him to read the third verse from the end slowly and thoughtfully, EXPECTING Ruach Kadosh to work. I LOVE YOU
