A Great Irony in Christian Theology…

So, let me get this straight…

Israel was free when they were obedient to God’s Torah, but sent into bondage when they repeatedly disobeyed it, but Christendom is ‘free’ when they ignore God’s Torah and ‘in bondage’ if they rightly choose obedience?

Say wha…?

Here is the TRUTH:

The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever. Isaiah 40:8

For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law (Torah)Proverbs 4:2

Got Torah?

  1. Yes, don’t you know He took them out of the bondage of Egypt to put them into bondage at Sinai? And riddle me this: if sin is bondage…how can the torah ( which defines sin) be bondage also?

  2. Amein!!! Hit ‘the nail on the head’ as I just saw ‘someone’ else use that phrase. He won’t let me in to his blog. I just wanted to ask him to answer my questions honestly. What is wrong with this???

    1. Connie, what’s wrong is that they love their darkness and choose to be willfully ignorant. Joh 3:19 And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.
Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, lest his works should be reproved.

  3. Pete, I applaud you for you efforts but it appears his eyes are super-glued shut. When we first came into the knowledge of the truth of Torah we thought everyone would want to know . Sadly, that was not the case , as I am sure you are finding out. Shine the light in a persons eyes who has lived in darkness for years and you are not likely to get a favorable response. We have found that those who are accepting are those who have already been seeking. Only the Ruach can prepare their hearts. We used to feel responsible for their decision but later came to understand that we can only sow the seed. We are not held accountable for the condition of the soil.

  4. HE gives the hearing ear and the seeing eye. We have to open our heart to HIS Truth when HE nudges us. When we hunger and thirst after HIM and HIS Truth and HIS Ways HE will open them to us. Baruch atah YHWH. They just don’t understand what a blessed life they are missing, do they?

    1. I can’t take full credit for that… LOL! That comes out of a deep discussion Trav and I have had as we came this walk. Something recently reminded me and I had to think it through to get the wording right so it would be a pithy thought.
